Parlee, William Alexander: January 30, 1963, The Chronicle-Herald, Halifax, NS: William Alexander Parlee, of Moser’s (sic) River, died in Camp Hill Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was 40. Born in Moser’s (sic) River, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Parlee. He served overseas in the Canadian Army during World War II. He was a member of the Canadian Legion, Corcelette Branch, Sheet Harbour. Surviving besides his parents are: his wife, the former Ethel Bezanson; one son Douglas at home; two brothers, Wilson, Lower Sackville and Reginald, Halifax; two sisters, Joyce (Mrs. Percy Fleet), Moser’s (sic) River, and Margaret (Mrs. Albert Mattinson), Springhill. One son, Bobbie, predeceased him. The remains are resting at his late home, Moser’s (sic) River. Funeral service will take place today from St. John’s Anglican Church, Necum Teuch, with Rev. Mr. Mitchell officiating. Interment will be at Necum Teuch Cemetery.
